Take Your Seats

(5 stars) 'You will not see a more killingly funny play this year' Sunday Telegraph

Enjoy is a rarely-performed gem by Alan Bennett, one of the greatest observers of the English way of life and stars Alison Steadman and David Troughton.

Enjoy is a dark comedy written by Alan Bennett in 1980. He wrote this dark comedy in his home town of Leeds, where an ageing couple are living in the city’s last back-to-back. Wilf and Connie are soon to be re-housed in a brand new maisonette with a waste disposal unit and non-slip vinyl flooring, with the demolition of the area in progress. Normality takes a decidedly surreal turn when a sociologist comes to observe them in their daily life. Enjoy is a supreme theatrical treat with its gallery of extraordinary characters and stunning visual denouement.

St George's Day

During the week beginning 16th April, The Ritz, one of the only British owned five star hotels in London, will be flying the flag of the patron saint of England, St George.

Celebrate St. George's Day on Thursday 23rd April in elan as The Ritz Restaurant will be offering a quintessentially English Menu du Jour for lunch and dinner as an additional complement to the extensive a la Carte Menu.
